The Vision of To Every Tribe

Our ministry mandate is well-stated by the Apostle Paul in Romans 15:20-21:

"It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ was not known, so that I would not be building on someone else's foundation.  Rather, as it is written:  Those who were not told about him will see, and those who have not heard will understand."

From this passage we have adopted the following Vision Statement:
To Every Tribe exists to spread a passion for the supremacy of God
among unreached peoples throughout the earth.

The Mission of To Every Tribe

Our Mission Statement:
To Every Tribe intends to purposefully glorify God by planting national
led, self-sustaining, self-reproducing, evangelical Christian churches
in the interior regions of Papua New Guinea and Mexico initially, and
then to other unreached peoples around the world as the Lord directs.

To Every Tribe has many facets of ministry, but everything we do is intentionally directed toward accomplishing this vision.  We are committed to the following ministries:

Pioneer Church Planting - We are presently engaged with unreached people groups in Papua New Guinea and Mexico.

The Center For Pioneer Church Planting – In addition to cross-cultural church planting, it is our desire to extend this ministry into the next generation by training new pioneers for the gospel.  The Center prepares and equips missionary martyrs for the challenges of church planting among people groups who have never heard the gospel.

Short-Term Mission Trips – Short-term mission trips are the "farm system" in which long-term church planters often get their initial vision for cross-cultural mission.  To Every Tribe organizes training and evangelistic trips each year into Mexico and Papua New Guinea.

To Every Tribe Sending Agency – As missionaries are recruited, trained, and deployed cross-culturally, a well-built organizational infrastructure is required to send and serve these church planting teams.

Ongoing Tribal Research – To Every Tribe constantly has its eye on the far-flung places where no name for Christ exists.  As we learn of unreached peoples in new areas, it is our desire to train missionaries and target these untouched territories. We need trained ethnographers to assist us in locating the places still in most need of the gospel.
