All I have read and heard and watched inclines me to rejoice over the vision and theology and mission of David Sitton. I thank God for his Christ-exalting, God-centered, Bible-based courage to focus his life on unreached peoples. Like no one else I know, David Sitton puts his body where his mouth is. The risks are high; the reward is overwhelming. I commend To Every Tribe Ministries for your support and involvement. May the Lord of glory spread his fame through all who partner with this ministry to make a name for Jesus among the nations.

If you want to come to China as a missionary, be prepared to wear a “learner’s permit” around your neck for the first ten years!
They came to us as rough recruits; they leave us as missionaries for Christ… The Center For Pioneer Church Planting (CPCP) joyfully graduated its second class on August 17th. The Kevin Davis and Mark Faulkner families along with Cara Bebee, Chris Johnson and Kirby Myer are now forming teams as they further prepare to take aim upon unreached people groups in Mexico and Papua New Guinea.
We’re not naïve. Our new missionaries are still rough recruits with much to learn. And most of it they will learn the hard way (experience!). Watchman Nee had it exactly right about the steep “learning curve”… And it’s true for any cross-cultural work of the gospel. Pioneering is tough work! It demands physical, emotional and spiritual energy and endurance. So many become weary and quit! Will you pray for these new missionaries for Christ? Frequently? By name? The Lord and the rigors of the field will provide seasoning soon enough. Praising God and Bursting at the Seams! We are praising God… And bursting at the seams! Everyday we are more amazed at all the ways we see God at work blessing TETM so that we can become an even greater blessing to the nations. A quick review of the last year: You may remember that the Lord provided an 8-plex apartment building that became the home of the CPCP and housing for our students. In speedy providence over just a few weeks, the Lord provided “far more abundantly” than what we had faith to ask for! Looking ahead to our 3rd year of the CPCP (begins January 7th, 2008); we find that the 8-plex apartment building is no longer adequate to fully accommodate the growing number of incoming students.
I think you will agree – The Lord is at work among us. We rejoice over the many answered prayers for needed facilities, staff, students, missionary recruits and new locations in Papua New Guinea, Mexico and beyond for gospel advance. As friends of TETM, we want you to know about these exciting developments. You are a vital part of reaching the nations through your support of TETM. Thank you for being such great partners in the gospel.
